Hello dears,
Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

Comme l'Expression libre est la compétence la plus difficile à bien acquérir dans l'apprentissage d'une langue, il nous faut nous y entraîner, même si c'est notre langue maternelle, d'ailleurs...

Certains m'avaient dit être gênés d'exprimer des idées personnelles ( - ils avaient l'impression - souvent fausse - de les exprimer maladroitement ). Dautre part, vous savez que je ne vous demande pas de " raconter votre vie " si vous ne le désirez pas... Je souhaite juste vous voir vous exprimer sur tout sujet aussi " librement " que possible.
De plus, je pense que vous aurez maintenant compris que pour moi, toute expression, même maladroite, est intéressante et a de la valeur. Elle nous stimule tous à " trouver mieux " !

Voici les questions auxquelles vous pourrez répondre :

1) In your opinion, what are the most important influences in a kid's life?

2) What's your favourite leisure ocupation?

3) Young people will change the world. Do you agree?

Vous pouvez répondre à 1 ou 2 questions au choix en mp en notant bien les références - et développer celle(s) que vous voulez, jusqu'à atteindre en tout un maximum d'environ 150 mots.

Envoyez-moi vos réponses en mp et je publierai une première série que vous 'corrigerez' (en bleu d'abord pendant deux jours, sans donner 'votre solution') puis en vert. Une fois le premier texte 'corrigé' au mieux, je publierai ensuite la deuxième série... (sans changements donc ! ) Vous gagnez de la liberté (celle de ne pas parler de plusieurs sujets, ceux qui ne vous " inspirent pas "... Vous écrivez la longueur que vous voulez, vous pouvez choisir d'inventer, de plaisanter, ou de répondre avec sérieux... Nous vous suivrons !

Cet exercice sera pour vous un ou en fonction de la qualité de vos écrits et des difficultés (surmontées) dans la prestation...

ANSWER A: topic 2) What's your favourite leisure ocupation? Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

My present favourite leisure occupation is pulling weeds. It keeps me very busy, for we've had a great deal of rain recently, and, therefore, weeds have proliferated. All the more so as spring has arrived. I have a gravel alley leading to my gate, but as the gravel is not so dense now, weeds are gaining ground, and it is a perpetual race between them and me. My technique is this: I don't use any tool, let alone chemicals, or even gloves. I pick them very delicately and I concentre to pull slowly and in line, so the root will entirely come out. Some don't grow vertically, that's why you have to consider the direction of your pulling carefully! And don't leave them behind, unless you want them to grow back... But then, there are some so-called weeds I leave alone: oxalis, chickweed... they're beautiful and harmless, so... long life to biodiversity !

I suggest 'as the gravel has become thinner' or 'as the gravel is scarcer now' or "as the gravel is sparse (clairsemé) now " ("dense" was misleading because it could refer to the physical density of gravel)
And I 'concenTRATE' on pulling ...

A child is like a sponge and absorbs every influence around him and captures the atmospheres of his environment. The first impression of a kid is into his family vibe. A young child is influenced by education, the examples, the affection, and the values that parents transmit to him. The trust he has in his parents, the dialogue maintained with him will have a lasting effect on every aspect of his life.

There is also the school, friends, teachers, who can also have an important impact on a child's mind. Readings, movies, and social networks can also provide him with another point of view. A kid functions emotionally and also tends to identify himself with a person he admires and wants to resemble. This can be an actor, an athlete, any celebrity, or simply hir own father or mother.
In my opinion, parents remain the most important, responsible influencers for their child, by giving him some guidance, and the right foundations, that will build him and help him throughout his life.

The trust he has in his parents, the dialogue maintained with him will have a lasting effect on every aspect of his life.

Si l'on parle bien de la quantité de graviers par rapport à la surface, toutes ces phrases me semblent convenir.
