Let's suggest 114- Taking it easy 60
Message de here4u posté le 01-08-2026 à 22:56:11 (S | E | F)
Hello dears,

Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

1) What does the word 'HOLIDAY' mean to you?

2) Do you approve of young people driving as young as 16?

3) Tell us about your latest dream (or nightmare)?

Cet exercice sera corrigé le mardi 28 juillet 2026 ! with THE FORCE, GO FOR IT!

Hello dears,

Here is our first ANSWER.

1) What does the word 'HOLIDAY' mean to you?please indicate possible mistakes, and underline what looks clumsy to you...

For me, HOLIDAY means packing things and packing same dirty things to go back to home. Meeting new people by hazard, knowing that you maynot keep be in contact in a week or two pushes us to superficiality. I hate it. Holiday means asking you what your are going to do next, and answer yes to the most stupid ideas like lying under the sun at a crowded beach and do nothing, just wait for your skin to become brown (or red). And one of the groups of friends suggests you to go and have a ride on a jetski. You know that he knows anything about jetski (no license needed) and find you enbarassed because the police stops you and fined you.The evening, you may drink what you never drink and danse and drik again - it's so hot- and find that your friends have took a lot of money to you. You stupid guy! That's why you hate holiday.

for your help.

hello!

A rather pessimistic point of view

For me, the word HOLIDAY means packing things and packing the same dirty things to go back to home* and meeting new people by chance (hazard=danger). Moreover**, knowing that you may not keep be in contacted in a week or two pushes/leads us you to superficiality/futility. I hate it. Holiday means asking yourself/wondering what your you are going to do next, and answering yes to the most stupid ideas like lying under the sun at a crowded beach and do nothing, just wait for your skin to become brown (or red). And one of the groups of your friends suggests you to that you (should) go and have a ride on a Jet Ski. You know think that he knows something about Jet Ski (no license needed) and find yourself enbarrassed because the police stops you and fines you (same tense). In the evening, you may drink what you never drink and dance and drink again - it's so hot- and find that your friends have took a lot of money to from you. You stupid guy! That's why you hate holiday.

* "The same dirty things" is weird, they were not dirty at the beginning. Suggestion : ... and bringing these things back home dirty ...
** I split the sentence to avoid suggesting that meeting new people by chance leads to futility.
