Sahara/correction

Good morning everybody !
I have just written this paragraph about Sahara (desert). I'll be very glad if you help me to correct the mistakes that Idid made .

Sahara is an amazing place which deserve the visit . Hoggar is one of its gorgeous sites . You have to spend 2200 KMS starting from Algiers to reach there . It's situated in the south . Hoggar has high mounts but the highest one is Tassili . Sahara's weather is very hot an sunny summer but cold in winter . The Saharian people wear traditional clothes which protect them from the high temperature and grains of sand . We only listen the clap of their hands . This's the method that they use to make music .
This was simple information about Algerian Sahara.

The verbs 'deserve and wear'are third person ,in the singular.

Hello..
Desert names usually need the definite article..."The Gobi Desert" "The Kalahari Desert" etc.,
The adjective should be "Saharan", on the lines of "Alaska.. Alaskan", "Cuba...Cuban" - that is, where the last letter is a vowel and the previous one is a consonant.
"Hoggar has high mounts"........"mounts"??
"We only listen the clap of their hands"....preposition missing here.
